A 60mm travel suspension fork makes worrying about bumps a thing of the past while the heat treated, butted T6 aluminum frame is sturdy enough to hold up to the street or the path. 21 speeds will help you go up anything and the Tektro alloy linear pull brakes will help you stop on the way down. The double wall alloy rims will keep you rolling down the way. Whether you are looking to ride around town, the neighborhood or paths, the Sorrento has you covered.

Diamondback Sorrento compare the Components!
This bike is awesome. I’ve had it for about a month and it should be worth more than the list price. Bikes are made up of components and this one has all the desirable ones! It has Shimano Lever Shifters, Re-enforced Rims, Semi Aggressive Tires for riding on Road or Trail, and a Shimano Altus Derailer! The Trail XC shocks on the front forks have saved me multiple times from flying over the handlebars so it is also very safe. I completely recommend it. Thanks!
Light weight decent bicycle
Im no bike expert, and its been a long time since I got one, I liked this bike because of the price, for this price range is a pretty nice ride, light weight and over all good quality, it took me some time to assemble it correctly but thats maybe because its the first time I do it. Im a systems engineer so I tend to try to assemble everything myself. In the end I did it but if you are not too versed into bikes better take it somewhere else to have it professionally assembled it will save you lots of frustrations.
it handles well in the street and in the trails, I use it mainly for exercising not too much mountain biking, I guess that for serious mountain biking it will fall short.
NICE BIKE

LIGHTWEIGHT FOR ABOUT $299
FIRST, I (a 22 year old male)weighed 255lbs when I started riding this bike. Already, I’m at 240lbs 1.5 months later.
The bike came with all needed parts, tools as well.
Front shock had a missing rubber part from frame to shock. : (not sure how needed that is)
Now I have black residue coming from the frame/shock.
Besides that, it rides pretty good …….shifts through gears nicely (I just have to learn how to shift).
Solid buy for it’s price.
Good luck with your purchase.
Most Bang For Buck
I once had a Diamondback Mountain Bike that I absolutely loved. Put over 2000 miles of riding on it. Unfortunately, someone stole it off of my second floor balcony. I spent months shopping for a new bike wanting to make sure it was just as good as my last bike and not over priced. After much debating and comparing, online and in the stores, lo and behold, another Diamondback was apparently the best deal for the best equipment. I got the bike, assembled myself easily and took it out right away. Once again, I am 100% satisfied with the bike. Great for around town casual riding all the way to intermediate mountain biking. It is sturdy, rides very well, gears shift cleanly, some of the best shimanos you can get. If you feel like $1000 is just too much for a bike, you will never go wrong with a Diamondback.
My son loves this bike.
I bought this bike for my son who was 13 at the time. The bike arrived in good condition with all parts intact. My son, with my supervision, was able to put the bike together himself and make all the adjustments necessary for a good fit. He loves the look and feel of the bike. Primarily uses it around town to visit friends but has also taken it on boy scout bike hikes. It does not come with a kickstand. We may need to add that. This was a good value and a nice bike to grow with him through his teen years.
great bike
This diamondback mountain bike I bought on amazon is the best bike I’ve ever owned. It’s light, rides smooth, and the brakes work great too. Easy to assemble and adjust if you know anything about bikes.
Good for the price
Good bike for the price. Easy to set up if you are familiar with bikes. Had to return the first due to bent crank. Could be geared a little higher, but I like it. Tops out at 20 miles an hour. Shifts smooth. Need to adjust the brakes at set up. Only difference between this and Outlook is Shimano shifters. Same frame. Not sure if thats worth the jump as this is not a bike to tear up trails with.
Great Quality for Under $300
A great bike for light terrain and city streets. The Shimano conponents are great and shift smoothly. I have tested a couple of other mountain bikes from different manufacturers in the same price range and have found that all of the bikes fell short of the Diamondback. Purchasing through Amazon saved me over $50 compared to retail stores.
Very satisfied with my first ride
The bike is worth $300. Although it was the first time assembling the bike, my friend and I assembled the bike for less than 2 hours even w/o the manual. Gear shift is very smooth though the brakes are a little loose. Except for this, riding this bike was a great fun. Strongly recommended!
